We are happy to worship and grow with your child. “Surfer Kids” is a place where kids can have an opportunity to learn how to have a great big life surfing with a great big God. A place where faith, imagination, and learning go hand in hand. “Surfer Kids” is the children's ministry of First Christian Church that serves infants through 6th grade. Our goal is to help your child:
See God, Understand God, Respect God, FindGod in their lives.
The Tide Poolers
Building a kids life starts at a very early age. The beginning stages of spiritual development are learning blocks that can help children discover early on how much God loves them. Our nursery (6 weeks to 2 years) gives children the opportunity to grow in a loving, caring environment that teaches life lessons in a biblical model. Our preschool guides little kids (3 years to kindergarten) into a safe, creative place that instills biblical concepts through age-specific learning.
The Surfers
Watch as kids surf to a whole new level of relationship with God. 1st - 6th graders will engage in captivating environments filled with Bible lessons that will develop their faith, character, and purpose in life. At “Surfer Kids”, we try to create settings that not only enable strong spiritual growth, but strong friendships with other students. Every week will be a new fun and creative experience designed just for kids as they grow in their walk with God.
Special events take place throughout the year on a monthly basis. Whether we stay on campus or go on outings locally and/or out of town, it’s always a time of fun and learning where God is in every setting.
